The Cape is Done

Well its off the bucket list the cape is done !!!
With one missing number plate two broken trailer plugs a brake controller fused I presume from the broken plugs and a chipped windscreen and 1800kms of dirt road we made it to the top and back here are some pics of a few of the highlights

above and below are wiepa mine tour

 Ship loading at wiepa

on the way to morton telegraph station
Below look closely and click on photo read the sign on the tree boy do the creeks rise in the wet
The sign says we were here in a boat 2003

Numerous missing number plates at Bramwell junction the start of the telegraph track

Below are photos of palm creek crossing no way I would attempt to cross this we take the bypass road to Elliot falls

Didn't expect Elliot creek to be so deep 700mm waited for someone to cross so I could watch but alas all chickened out so we took a deep breath and dived in so to speak after all we had already paid $20 to camp on the other side
 watched this guy later
Boy was the water crossing worth it look at this place twin falls Elliot falls the canal etc
We had a fantastic swim here no crocs and crystal clear water I got sun burnt

 Breath taking scenery

our bush camp none of the comforts of the caravan here

we visit fruit bat falls on the way out after once again crossing that creek we video it this time

Just another look at that crossing I am amazed we did it
 will post more later
